Present together

Use shared room view to see one pod in the same physical place. One presenter controls its position, scale and cutaways.

Explore on your own, or start a presentation.

Physical alignment not confirmed

For the same physical location, enable WebXR experiments on every headset and enter room view together.

Align two headsets in the same room

On each Quest Browser, open chrome://flags, enable WebXR experiments, then restart the browser.
Open xr.midascompute.com on both headsets. On the presenter’s browser page, choose Host presentation first, then Place in my room and place the pod.
On the guest’s browser page, enter the room code and choose Join to open room view, or add the guest through Your ready headsets. Both headsets must be in room view.
Wait for Physical alignment confirmed on the guest. The presenter shows the number of aligned guests. They now share the presenter’s placement and scale.

Shared room view keeps the pod at one real location. VR walkthrough starts a guest at the presenter’s virtual viewpoint and allows independent movement.

Your ready headsets

Prepare your guest headsets once. Then add them from here without asking attendees to enter a room code.

Create a group, then prepare each guest headset once.

Prepare this guest headset

The operator opens Midas on this headset, enters the setup code below, then leaves it ready in room view. Enable WebXR experiments first for shared physical alignment.

Keep Midas open and the prepared headset in room view. Choose VR walkthrough for an independent virtual tour. A new session may require the operator to confirm immersive entry again.

Inside the headset

Raise your left controller and look at your wrist to see the menu. Aim with the right controller; a white crosshair marks the target. Trigger selects.

Move: left stick walks smoothly in VR or slides the model in your room. Right stick turns smoothly.
Grab: point at the model and hold an index trigger or side grip, then move the controller.
Resize: keep holding and press the other controller's trigger or grip. Move your hands apart or together.
Walk inside: in VR, your feet follow the pod's hall floors, ramps and stairs. A or X wakes the left-wrist menu.

First session

Use indoors in a clear activity space. This version does not align the model with an outdoor site survey. Placement lasts for the current session.
